Options for Making Financial Contributions to Ascension Lutheran Church

 

1. Simply mail a check to ALC's office: (Note - Do Not Send Cash)

2. Ask your financial institution to simply mail a check to ALC's office.

 

3. Ask your financial institution to make an electronic transfer (ET) directly into ALC's checking account. You'll need ALC's checking account and ET routing number which can be obtained from Gene Heyerdahl (ALC's Financial Secretary, 802-985-5030).

 

With these first three options, contributors are in total interactive control of the contribution process and can make any direct changes any time they wish to.

 

NOTE: It helps the Financial Secretary's bookkeeping task if these direct ET contributions can be made on either the 1st or the 15th working day of the month.

 

4. Ask ALC's Financial Secretary to set up a 'Thrivent's Simple Giving' ET contribution on either the 1st or/both 15th working days of the month. To do this you need to provide ALC's Financial Secretary with a voided blank copy of a check from the account you wish to make the contribution from, the date selected for the contribution and the amount of the contribution.

 

A limitation of the Thrivent Program is that any desired changes have to be made through the Financial Secretary with the exception of simply telling your financial institution to simply stop making ET contributions from that account.
